The Early Childhood Education Program is designed to train graduates to provide quality services for young children and their families. It is developed to comply with the National Guidelines for Training in Early Childhood Care and Education. Students can choose to take both Early Childhood Education and Educational Assistant courses, or only the courses pertaining to either program — tuition is the same. Students who select both programs broaden their employment opportunities.
Early childhood educators plan, organize, and implement programs for children between the ages of infancy and 12 years. They lead children in activities to stimulate intellectual, physical, and emotional growth and ensure their security and well-being.
